Sure, there are plenty of places on the Seattle waterfront to get fish and chips, but for an unforgettable cheap meal, catch the water taxi over to Alki Beach. Here, right at the Alki Beach water-taxi dock, you'll find this little fish-and-chips joint that boasts one of the best views in Seattle. In fact, next-door-neighbor Salty's on Alki Beach has made its reputation almost solely based on this very vista. So if you want the city's best view of the Seattle skyline but don't want to blow your budget, this is the place. The cost of the water taxi from the Seattle waterfront plus the halibut and chips doesn't even come close to what you would spend on a meal at Salty's. If you're just coming over to eat, you can even ask for a transfer and get back to Seattle without having to pay for the return ride!
