Frommer's Review
Regardless of the superb food, I would still send you to this stylish waterfront restaurant in The Edgewater hotel. The views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains are unforgettable, and the "robo-trees" that decorate the dining room are a curious blend of rustic and high-tech. If the weather is warm, try to get a seat on the narrow little deck; it's the best waterfront deck in Seattle. Even if you can't sit outside, the entire dining room has good views and the walls open up for an alfresco feel. The menu changes regularly, so you never know what to expect. However, if the crab bisque is on the menu, don't miss it: This soup is just plain astounding, with a caramel flavor and big chunks of crabmeat. The clam chowder here has won awards, too. The kitchen also does a great job with halibut, and its wood-roasted salmon is terrific. And all you meat-eaters can enjoy the good steak.
