Frommer's Review
Watertown is one of Seattle's U District entries in the hip boutique hotel market. Only blocks from the University of Washington, this beautifully designed hotel is definitely well placed for a trendy clientele. If you're into contemporary styling, you'll love it, even if you aren't in town on university business. Platform beds, streamlined built-ins, desks with frosted-glass tops and ergonomic chairs, and huge full-length mirrors are just a few of the interesting features in the guest rooms. Bathrooms are large and have granite countertops; when you see the frosted-glass portal on the door, you might imagine you're on a cruise ship. Guests enjoy a complimentary wine tasting during their stay, as well as access to the pool and hot tub at the nearby University Inn, which is under the same management.
