Frommer's Review
While low-budget hipsters have the Ace hotel, those who are more flush can opt to stay at this plush little Belltown inn. It's located directly above, and affiliated with, the retro-swanky El Gaucho steakhouse. The nondescript street-level front door does nothing to prepare you for the luxurious little second-story lobby, which makes this place feel like a real find. After a night on the town, have breakfast in the luxurious feather bed. Leather chairs and sofas, plasma-screen TVs, and Bose radio/CD players all make rooms here well worth lingering in. Throw in fresh flowers and you have a great place for a romantic weekend on the town. One caveat: Be aware that the inn is up a flight of stairs.
Facilities:
Restaurant (steakhouse); 2 lounges; access to nearby health club; concierge; room service; in-room massage; laundry service; dry cleaning

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
