Frommer's Review
Geared toward techie business travelers and wired to the max, Hotel 1000 is the most luxurious and technologically advanced hotel in Seattle. However, what should really matter to you is that the rooms are bigger than those at most downtown hotels and all have floor-to-ceiling walls of glass to let in lots of light and, if you're high enough up, take in views of Elliott Bay. Bathrooms in deluxe rooms are works of art, with freestanding Philippe Starck bathtubs that fill dramatically from the ceiling. Beautiful artwork, often in muted tones, fills the hotel and lends a tranquil feel to both public spaces and guest rooms. There's even changeable art on the 40-inch wall-hung HDTVs. Golfers take note: This is the only downtown Seattle hotel with its own golf course. In fact, the hotel's virtual-reality "golf club" has more than 50 golf courses from which to choose, including St. Andrews, Pinehurst No. 2, and Pebble Beach.
Facilities:
Restaurant (new American); lounge; virtual golf course; exercise room; small full-service spa; concierge; business center; room service; massage
