Getting There
More than a dozen trains per day depart from Innsbruck for the 40-minute trip to Seefeld. Other trains leave from Munich and pass through the Bavarian resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen before arriving in Seefeld. For rail information, contact tel. 05/1717 (www.oebb.at).
Despite its position on several different bus routes heading up into the nearby valleys, most visitors arrive here by train. You can, however, take one of the dozen or so buses departing daily from Innsbruck's Hauptbahnhof for the 45-minute trip. For bus information, call tel. 0512/585155 in Innsbruck.
If you're driving from Innsbruck, head west along Route 171 until you reach the junction with Route 313, at which point you go north.
Visitor Information
The Seefeld tourist office, Klosterstrasse 43 (tel. 05212/2313; www.seefeld.com.), is open Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 6:30pm, and Sunday 10am to noon.
