Frommer's Review
The town's most unusual and elegant hostelry is constructed around a 16th-century cloister. The interior contains soaring vaults supported by massive columns. Rooms are encased in a towering chalet behind the front entrance, and windows look out over the midsummer buffet set up near the outdoor sun terrace. They come in a variety of sizes, but all are beautifully kept, with antiques and comfortable mattresses. Medium-size bathrooms have robes, tub/shower combinations, and bidets. Some rooms contain balconies opening onto mountain vistas, and nonsmoking rooms can also be reserved.
In the evening, chicly dressed patrons often drop in at Die Kane nightclub, whose comedians and musical revues provide a high spot in the village's nightlife. A daily afternoon tea dance in winter allows hotel guests to meet one another. Hotel Klosterbräu features two excellent restaurants.
