The menu changes frequently, but established favorites include the beetroot Carpaccio with goat cheese, soy and ginger salmon with green tea soba, T-bone steak, and beef pie. Wines, chosen from an impressive list, are served in specially imported glasses. Save room for the homemade desserts. There is alfresco dining on the second-floor patio during the warmer months. This is as comfortable and as unpretentious as fine dining gets. On weekends, Mesa also serves one of the best home-style brunches in town.
