The best luxury hotel in the district, the internationally managed Regal has bright, modern guest rooms with bedside electronic controls, robes, slippers, and all the amenities of a five-star establishment. Its Shanghai International Tennis Center offers Shanghai's best facilities, including a center court that seats 1,200 spectators. It's located along trendy Hengshan Lu, and the Metro is a block away. Service is efficient enough, but drops off when it gets busy. Tip: Request a room number that ends in "9" -- these are significantly larger than the rest.
