Located a 5-minute walk from the Bund, the award-winning Westin offers large guest rooms headlined by Westin's patented Heavenly Bed, and plushly furnished with large work desk, fax machine, high-speed Internet access, and deluxe bathroom that includes a separate stall with a "rainforest" shower. The Westin Kids Club is nearly unique in Shanghai, consisting of a separate area with adjoining outdoor terrace and paddle pool. Adults, meanwhile, can avail themselves of the sybaritic experience at the hotel's Banyan Tree Spa. Service throughout is impeccable. Besides the Bund, the old Chinese city (Nanshi) can also be reached on foot (20 min.).
