Frommer's Review
This glittering hotel offers a fresh, high-tech touch to the Pudong scene, with a full-service Internet cafe dominating the entrance lobby. Rooms are filled with amenities, including interactive Web TVs. Bright, jazzy, and thoroughly contemporary, the Novotel Atlantis suffers a bit from its location (too far east to walk to Pudong's attractions), making taxis a necessity, though when Metro Line 4 is fully operational in 2007, the stop is just minutes away. Until then, significant room discounts make this an option worth considering. The Pudong Airport shuttle bus (¥30/$3.60) is handy and fairly quick. There's a Dolfi Kid's Club to distract the young ones as well, and a Sunday brunch with magic acts and face painting for the young and the young-at-heart.
