This brand-new member of the Shelter Island scene is bound to cause a stir. The cafe's interior couldn't be more basic: wood floors, simple wooden tables and chairs, white walls, exposed beams. But the brief menu -- relying on local, organic ingredients -- presents intensively complex flavors, such as the miso-glazed salmon with bok choy, mushrooms, and jasmine rice. The seafood options only get better, with options like ceviches and a seasonal raw bar.
