Longtime popular street-side cafe in the center of the Old Market area, The Soup Dragon serves up good Khmer and Western dishes but is most popular for authentic Vietnamese fare like pho (noodle soup), fresh spring rolls, and all manner of wok-fried dishes. Two floors of open-air dining overlook the busy street at the center of town and are always packed, but they've just opened a large rooftop area as well. The place opens into a casual bar in the late evening and, whether to just beat the heat at noontime or to talk late into the night, Soup Dragon is a good place to meet up with other travelers while enjoying drinks and a fine meal.
