Frommer's Review
Hôtel de la Paix is an elegant, modern minimalist hotel that could easily be mistaken for a W Hotel in Los Angeles. The lobby is art deco with black and white tiles and stark white walls that are shockingly broken by neon pink lights behind the lobby lounge. Room interiors are beautiful modern structures; the color scheme is black and white, with accent pillows in deep purple and silver wall hangings and lamps. A white marble bathtub lies a couple feet away from the foot of the bed. Around the corner is the funky stone shower console with tropical showerhead. Suites come with DVD players. There's a large outdoor pool that is covered in a cave like enclosure at one end. It looks like something out of an epic Roman movie, with large blocks of sandstone covered in mattresses and triangle head rests.
