Frommer's Review
You can usually trust a place that doesn't hide its kitchen. La Torre's is in plain view, next to a dozen tightly packed tables under an undulating brick ceiling. It's a popular place, so reserve ahead or show up early. All the pasta is homemade (none more deliciously than the pici and the plump tortellini) and served with the sauce of your choice and a generous heap of Parmesan cheese on top. Afterward, try the vitello arrosto (slices of roast veal) or piccione al forno (oven-baked pigeon).
