Frommer's Review
This vaguely neoclassical palm-fronted villa is just a 5-minute hike from the Campo yet only half a block from the bus depot; it's not a particularly charming area but certainly convenient. The rooms have been prettied up a bit and the bathrooms have been redone with tub/shower combinations. The rooms overlook either the noisy road or the clipped lawn of the soccer stadium out back. Monday through Saturday, the latter are the quietest rooms in the house; come Sunday in soccer season (which mercifully takes a hiatus in the busy months of July and Aug) you're in for a noisy but entertaining and educational afternoon. This is a "proper" hotel with a bar, a breakfast terrace, a restaurant, and many tour groups.

Restaurant; concierge; tour desk; limited room service; Internet access

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
