Having undergone renovations in 2006, this 1966 hotel is now an affordable selection with quite decent accommodations that range from midsize to spacious. One of its biggest assets is the location over the Atlantic-washed cliffs at the top of Praia Grande -- it's one of the best beaches in the surroundings of Lisbon. If you don't want to walk to the beach, you can always use the hotel's saltwater swimming pools. A good cuisine is served in the panoramic restaurant, featuring traditional Portuguese specialties with international dishes as well.
