Frommer's Review
One of the most exquisite small inns in the Finger Lakes, this serene and princely estate with luxuriously appointed rooms is a place to pamper yourself. The house, a 100-year-old Colonial Revival, sits on 400 acres about 3 miles from town, next to a large horse barn, with panoramic lake views. The house is first-class in every detail, from the antique furnishings to the crisp linens and beautiful bathrooms. Breakfast is served with silver and Waterford crystal. All the accommodations are different in decor and size; my favorite is the Lake View room, with a four-poster bed and a massive bathroom and Jacuzzi. The Master Suite has a private veranda and fireplace, while the Chanticleer room is sunny and charming, with a funky "pencil" bed. Less expensive rooms are smaller, but cozy and also quite charming; if you're looking for a bargain stay in a rarified place, check out the Twin Room, which ranks as a steal.
