We wouldn't want to recommend anything more rickety, old-fashioned, and worn than this place -- which drips character, at least, from its wooden verandas and gingerbread trim. Accommodations are found in the main house and also in a more modern, far less attractive motel-like unit out back. The main-house accommodations feature air-conditioning and private bathrooms with showers; those in the duller unit don't always have air-conditioning but do come with shower-only bathrooms. Furnishings are extremely modest, and the place is quite worn, even battered. Locals do flock here to the on-site restaurant and bar.
