On a broad beach of gold-colored sand, these luxury villas sprawl across a bit over 1 hectare (2 1/2 acers) of well-landscaped gardens with views. The compound borders the fishing community of Great Bay, which is the best swimming beach along the south coast. Blue Marlin is a four-bedroom villa with three bathrooms, and is elegantly furnished with a combination of comfortable contemporary pieces with a mixture of Jamaican antiques, including an extra large four-poster bed in some of the bedrooms. Extra services include a housekeeper and cook, a maid, and a full-time gardener. The other villa on site is the two-story Coquina, which has three attractively furnished bedrooms and three bathrooms. These villas are your most luxe choice for living along the South Coast, but rentals require a minimum 3-night stay. Additional nights are pro-rated at one-seventh of the weekly rate.
