The quiet dining room, facing a lake, is decorated in warm tones and has a stone fireplace; you could also choose to sit out on the screened-in deck. The ever-changing seasonal menu combines "comfortable old favorites" with more cutting-edge "contemporary creations." Start with something inventive, like paper-wrapped shrimp served with mango marmalade sauce, and follow up with something irresistible, like the triple meatloaf -- veal, beef, and pork baked with herbs and spices, wrapped in pastry, and served with an onion sherry sauce.
