This magnificent large mural, entitled "Orcas of the Gulf of Mexico," envelops a building next to the Laguna Madre Nature Trail at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. Internationally known environmental artist Wyland chose South Padre Island for his 53rd mural (the only one in Texas). Plans call for 100 Whaling Walls to help educate people on the importance of marine conservation.
