This peaceful two-story house on the bay with wraparound porches on both floors is a relaxing place to stay. Each room is decorated with American and English antiques and collectibles. Two rooms are downstairs: The Big Thicket room faces the bay and has a king-size bed and private entrance from the porch, and the Hill Country room is fully accessible for travelers with disabilities and has a queen-size bed. The upstairs rooms all have queen-size beds, and two face the bay, affording front seat views of stunning sunsets over the Laguna Madre. Seven rooms have showers only, one has a tub/shower combo. There are rocking chairs on the porches to entice you to sit back and relax. The homemade breakfast includes freshly baked pastries, a cooked dish, homemade granola, fresh fruit and juices, and gourmet coffee and tea. Smoking is permitted outside only.
