Boquerón -- For some reason, Boquerón has more shellfish vendors than any other area in western Puerto Rico. They display their bounty on wooden tabletops along the town's main street. Most of the shellfish is not refrigerated, and as such, we cannot vouch for its safety. But if you're adventurous, you might want to give it a try. Most vendors offer a selection of spicy sauces to accompany the shellfish.

La Parguera -- La Jamaka also serves excellent cuisine.
