Frommer's Review
Efficient, well designed, and comfortable, this hotel dates from the early 1990s. It sits above a restaurant that has been a city monument since the 1920s. Rising above the commercial heart of town, near the beach, it earns three stars from the local tourist office and has some of the amenities you'd associate with a more expensive property. Unfortunately, none of the Art Deco-style rooms overlooks the sea, but many have terraces, bay windows, or balconies. Each room comes with an immaculately kept bathroom with tub and shower. The big-windowed restaurant, L'Atlantique, offers a terrace overlooking the sea.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; pool; health club; sauna; room service; babysitting; laundry service

| 2 stars | Frommer's Very Highly Recommended | |
| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
