Planning a TripGetting There From Paris's Gare Montparnasse, about 14 TGV trains per day make the journey; a one-way ticket costs around 59€ to 73€ ($86-$106). If you're driving from Paris, take A13 west to Caen and continue southwest along N175 to the town of Miniac Morvan. From there, travel north on N137 directly to St-Malo. Driving time is 5 to 6 hours from Paris. Visitor Information The Office de Tourisme is on esplanade St-Vincent (tel. 08-25-13-52-00; www.saint-malo-tourisme.com). You must show a passport to take the car-ferry trips and tours to the Channel Islands or Les Iles Anglo-Normandes. Special Events One of the most important Breton pardons is at St-Malo, usually the third weekend in January: the Pardon of the Newfoundland Fishing Fleet (Pardon de St-Ouen).
