For a long time Money Honey was the only club in Russia to play rock and roll from the 50s and 60s, and it developed a cult following; it's still a great stop for true fans. The first floor plays lots of rockabilly, with Jim Beam signs and other trappings of an American dive bar, while Carl Perkins and the Jets blare out of the speakers. TVs all over the bar show music videos or sports. The more trendy space upstairs is where rock concerts are often performed and top DJs play. The drinks and the simple bar food (sausages, steaks, baked food) are cheap enough, but there is a cover most nights. Cash only.
