St-Rémy’s pale stone Old Town is utterly charming. Scattered among its pedestrianized streets are 18th-century private mansions, art galleries, medieval church towers (like St. Martin: the interior is pictured above), bubbling fountains, and Nostradamus’s birth home. Note that St-Rémy’s two major sites lie around 1km (0.6 miles) south of the town center.
