Frommer's Review
This B&B near the town center was built in 1883 as a fever hospital to quarantine patients afflicted with scarlet fever, diphtheria, and other plagues of the day. After World War I, it was transformed into an orphanage; in the late 1980s, it was finally converted to a B&B. The trio of thick-walled stone cottages is connected by means of covered passageways. The guest rooms are outfitted with good beds and flowered upholstery, and provide tub or shower bathrooms. The bar offers a wide assortment of single malts and a rough-and-ready kind of charm.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; sauna
