Introduction to Ste-AnneAbout 14km (8 3/4 miles) east of Gosier, little Ste-Anne is a sugar town and a resort with many fine beaches and lodgings. In many ways, it's the most charming village of Guadeloupe, with its pastel-colored town hall, its church, and its principal square, Place de la Victoire, which features a statue of French abolitionist Victor Schoelcher.
