Frommer's Review
Known affectionately as "T-head," this ski-in/ski-out property offers a variety of accommodations, from lodge and hotel rooms to one- and two-bedroom condos. Condo units have either full kitchens or kitchenettes, and most have gas fireplaces, but lodge and hotel rooms have neither. Some units have a sleeping loft, all except lodge rooms have balconies, and most boast great views of the ski mountain or valley. Hotel rooms have louvered doors separating the bedroom from the sitting area. The lodge rooms are somewhat small, with a queen bed, a love seat, and no desk. The condos are generally spacious -- even the studios, which have a queen bed and queen sofa sleeper. The Thunderhead is located in the heart of the mountain village, close to shopping and dining, and there's a sun deck, free coffee in the lobby, and a complimentary shuttle to grocery stores and downtown.
