Frommer's Review
Steamboat Springs's first house of worship, an 1891 Congregational Church that lost its steeple and top floor to lightning, is now a fine bed-and-breakfast with many stained-glass windows. There are beautiful European and American Victorian antiques in every room, reproduction antique beds, hardwood floors in the common areas and bathrooms, and carpeting in the bedrooms. Guests share a huge living/dining room with a wood-burning fireplace, where they can enjoy complimentary fresh fruit and baked goods. There's also a 24-hour nonalcoholic-beverage bar and a homemade cookie and biscotti bar. Other facilities include an upstairs library, sun deck, and a music conservatory with piano, TV, and VCR (videos are available). In summer, guests can enjoy an attractive deck, set in a lovely flower garden and lush lawn, or nap in a hammock under shady trees. Smoking is not permitted.
