Jamaica-born chef Verral Marshall infuses the island's local cuisine with his own spice and flair. Installed around the pool area of Horizons Villa Resort and built on the foundations of a long-gone fort, his restaurant overlooks Frigate Bay. It's quite romantic at night, with beautifully laid tables. You'll get a warm welcome, excellent service, and good food. Fresh shrimp in a tomato-and-basil sauce is perfectly prepared and a tasty choice. Even more exotic is the house signature dish of conch cutlets (pounded like a veal cutlet) and served with a rum-laced lime sauce. The fish depends on the catch of the day. Our party recently took delight in the grilled mahimahi and the grilled lobster. Prices are a bit steep but overall it's worth it for an evening out on the island.
