Frommer's Review
Here's a great location for both business and leisure travelers. Part of a St. Louis-based chain but more upscale than sister Drury Inns, this downtown hotel, situated just minutes from the Arch, occupies three renovated buildings, including the 1919 Fur Exchange Building. Rooms with the best views face the Arch and river. A less expensive choice is Drury Inn Union Station, across from Union Station at 201 S. 20th St. (tel. 314/231-3900), housed in a restored former YMCA built in 1907. With its indoor pool, exercise room, free parking, and laundry facilities, it's a great choice for families. Like all Drury properties, both offer free breakfasts, free local calls and 60 minutes of long-distance calls, free evening beverages and snacks, and free Internet access.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; indoor pool; exercise room

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
