Frommer's Review
This bistro stands north of Reduit Beach in an area that's known as restaurant row. Some of these places are rather expensive, but The Lime continues to keep its prices low, its food good and plentiful, and its service among the finest on the island. Both locals and visitors come here for limin', or hanging out. West Indian in feeling and open-air in setting, the restaurant features a "lime special" drink. Specialties include grilled lobster, and fish-steak Creole, as well as shrimp, steaks, lamb, pork chops, and rotis (Caribbean burritos). The steaks are done over a charcoal grill. Nothing is fancy, nothing is innovative, and nothing is nouvelle -- just like the savvy local foodies like it. It's less expensive and less touristy than Capone's.
