Frommer's Review
Simple and unpretentious, this cafe and sandwich shop is set on a side street between Front and Back streets, adjacent to the courthouse. The thick 200-year-old walls that shelter it are among the oldest in town, crafted of black stone that has withstood many a hurricane. Within an interior that's brightly painted in vibrant Creole colors, you'll find display racks loaded with fresh-baked pastries and espresso machines that chug out endless cups of caffeine. Salads (including versions with sesame chicken, or shrimp, avocado, and papaya) and sandwiches (beef, turkey, tuna, and grilled chicken) are sold at a roaring pace, mostly to passengers from the nearby cruise-ship docks, throughout the day.
