Frommer's Review
Although it requires a few minutes' walk to reach the gorgeous white-sand beach, this is one of the most attractive and appealing hotels at Orient Bay. It's set on a steep, carefully landscaped slope. Seventeen colonial-style villas are scattered around the tropically landscaped grounds and pool; each villa contains a suite and two studios, which can be rented separately or combined. The spacious units are stylishly furnished in a colorful Creole theme, complete with hand-painted or hand-stenciled murals, and each sports its own ocean-view terrace. Studios have kitchenettes and queen-size or twin beds; the suites have separate bedrooms with king-size beds, spacious living rooms, full kitchens, and beautifully tiled full bathrooms.
Café Plantation serves French and Creole dinners. At lunch, clients use an in-house "privilege card" to buy French/Creole/international meals at any of five beachfront restaurants loosely associated with the resort.
Facilities:
Restaurant; beach bar and grill; outdoor pool; 2 tennis courts; health club; diving; jet ski; parasailing; windsurfing; bike rental; horseback riding; boutique; high-speed Internet access; massage

| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
