Frommer's Review
This place defines the laidback beach shack ethos (a sign near the entrance warns NO SNOBS). Calmos Café is splashed in sunset colors, with lots of chaises on the sand; at a little front library, you can borrow beach reading. Young slicksters come to flirt, gossip, and drink (terrific frozen concoctions and homemade infused rums -- try the banana). In winter, there's sometimes live jazz or blues to accompany the sublime, affordable food.
