Frommer's Review
A short walk from the Corviglia cogwheel train, this large white-painted building looks oddly futuristic compared to the 19th-century structures around it. The interior combines comfortable alpine rusticity of knotty-pine Engadine-style cabinets and ceiling beams with wall-to-wall carpeting and informal furniture. All the midsize bedrooms are accented with either Swiss pine or walnut paneling. A cavernous 350 sq. m (3,767-sq.-ft.) fitness center was added in the basement of the hotel. The lobby and some of the rooms have also been enlarged, although the rustic alpine decor is still intact.
