Frommer's Review
With just nine rooms, the contemporary yet romantic Stone Hill Inn (built in 1998) offers personal service and a handy location, along with fancy amenities in all rooms such as four-poster king-size beds, Egyptian cotton towels, double-sided gas fireplaces that front double Jacuzzis in sizable bathrooms, and flatscreen televisions with DVD players and VCRs. Rooms don't have phones, but there's a private phone booth off the lobby. Room layouts are roughly the same, each coming with a small sitting area. High-ceilinged common rooms sport fireplaces and billiard tables, and a well-stocked guest pantry offers complimentary beverages around the clock. An outdoor hot tub provides a relaxing soak. Breakfast is served in a bright morning room, and free hors d'oeuvres are set out each evening. Stone Hill lacks history, but you'll happily forego timeworn character in exchange for the quiet, luxury, and romance.
