Frommer's Review
This is one of Stowe's best choices for those traveling on a slim budget. The motel has 60 or so units, spread out among three buildings; rooms here are basic, but a bit larger than average, and have some comfortable touches such as couches and coffee tables. All of the units have small fridges, and the slightly more expensive efficiency units add two-burner stoves for in-room cooking. Surprisingly, you get access to tennis courts, a pool, hammocks, and an outdoor hot tub -- a pretty good setup for such a budget-priced place. They will even rent you snowshoes or mountain bikes (there are 16 acres of grounds here). Not big enough? The motel also rents out some local houses and apartments nearby, some quite nice with hot tubs, washer/dryers, and the like.
