In the heart of La Petite France, this is Strasbourg's showcase of modern European art. Don't take the word "modern" too literally -- the collection dates from 1870 to the present. The layout of the museum starts with a historical section tracing the emergence of modern art and going forward to the 21st century. Other facilities include a graphic art and photography room, an art library, a museum shop, and a cafe-restaurant on the terrace.
