Frommer's Review
In the pedestrian zone steps from the cathedral, this five-story hotel is one of the city's best values and within walking distance of the Palais de Rohan. The 17th-century building was rebuilt shortly after World War II. It offers a choice of elegantly furnished rooms, the cheapest of which are small and have a French bed called a matrimonial (a standard double bed). Guest-room decor ranges from Louis XV to a regional Alsatian look with lots of wood paneling.
