Frommer's Review
This new roadside trattoria is a welcome addition to the area's rather wan dining possibilities. Inside the front door is a long, brightly lit bar populated with people who know each other; the dining room, with its marble fireplace, is an attached wing in back. The two-page menu lists appetizer-size pastas and cold and hot antipasti (you might want to order something other than the two bruschettas, which are made with the same focaccia served with dinner). Pastas can be supplemented with herb-roasted chicken or with the so-called "world's best meatballs." Every night has a special soup, risotto, filet mignon, cannoli, and crème brulée. Go for the excellent crab and salmon bisque, if it's available. Of the main dish pastas, the ravioli per lo Invierno is a good choice, butternut squash and sweet potato envelopes with crumbled sausage and a sage cream sauce.
