At long last Stuttgart has a Hilton, although it lies east of the center and across the river in the leafy suburb of Bad Cannstatt with its Kur Park. As German Hiltons go, this is one of the more modest choices, but it's first class in all respects, ranging from the comfort of its bedrooms to the quality of its food and service. It is especially popular with commercial travelers in Stuttgart on automobile business.

All the bedrooms are built to the highest modern standards with all the latest gadgets. Furnishings are tasteful with modern sophistication, and the sleek bathrooms come with tub/shower combos. We especially enjoy the Palm Beach restaurant on the ground floor, with its cocktails, light Mediterranean food, and typical American dishes. A special feature is a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry stocked with snacks, drinks, and "everything you forgot."
