The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 100 Hurd Rd., Bethel (tel. 866/781-2922; www.bethelwoodslive.org), on the grounds of the 1969 Woodstock concert, plays host to a wide range of mainstream rock, pop, jazz, and classical concerts, including Bob Dylan and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (the 21st-century version), the Boston Pops, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Earth, Wind & Fire. The pavilion seats 4,800, with room for another 12,000 on the lawn. Callicoon Theater, 30 Olympia St., Callicoon (tel. 845/887-4460), is a cool single-screen 1948 "post-Deco" theater still in use, showing first-run and art and independent films. Tusten Theater, 210 Bridge St., Narrowsburg (tel. 845/252-7576), is a fantastic, nicely renovated Deco-style theater that seats 160 for live music, including blues, jazz, chamber, and theater performances; the Delaware Valley Opera is in residence at the theater during the summer.
