Frommer's Review
Exquisite food, flawless service, and an almost unbeatable view across the city's western skyline have all helped Mezzaluna position itself firmly among Sydney's top waterside eateries. An open, candlelit place with white walls and polished wooden floorboards, the main dining room opens onto a huge all-weather terrace kept warm in winter by giant overhead fan heaters. The restaurant's owners provide an exceptional wine list to complement a menu that changes daily. There's always a fabulous risotto on the menu. Other delights may include spatchcock oven roasted with prosciutto, Asiago cheese, and sage, served with a black truffle potato purée and braised leek; oven-roasted lamb rump served with black olive Parmesan gratin, braised tomatoes, and basil oil. Whatever you choose, you can't really go wrong.
