With yellow walls pinned with antique plates and artwork, and padded-wooden chairs and archways, Buon Ricordo oozes trattoria-style charm. The food is rich and the prices for main courses are high, but the food is just perfection. Dishes might include such seasonal specialties as crispy fried harbor prawns, or a delicious winter salad of raw fennel and artichoke hearts. A favorite is the polenta cake with grilled radicchio flavored with sweet vincotto. The house signature dish is fettuccine al tartufovo -- fettuccine served in a cream sauce with lightly fried, truffle-infused eggs.
