Frommer's Review
I'd head here first if I were in the market for a decent boomerang or didgeridoo. Gavala is owned and operated by Aborigines, and it stocks plenty of authentic Aboriginal crafts, including carved emu eggs, grass baskets, cards, and books. A first-rate painted didgeridoo will cost anywhere from A$100 to A$450 (US$80-US$360/UK£40-UK£180). Gavala also sponsors cultural talks, didgeridoo-making lessons, and storytelling sessions. Open daily from 10am to 9pm.
