A Sydney institution, Paddy's Markets has hundreds of stalls selling everything from cheap clothes and plants to chickens. It's open Thursday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm. Above Paddy's Markets is Market City (tel. 02/9212 1388), which has three floors of fashion stalls, food courts, and specialty shops. Of particular interest is the largest Asian-European supermarket in Australia, on level 1.
